Kerr Woodworking is a husband and wife duo, crafting gorgeous handmade wood furniture in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. They came to us seeking support with the expansion of their visual brand, eager to use those new visuals to create an experiential website that communicates their values, and showcases and sells their products. Our goal together was to steep their visuals in their brand values, craft messaging that connected them with an aligned audience, allowing them to walk away with a visual expression, both in branding and web, that evoked the same feelings their client experience does – calm, trusting and supported. 

Our goal for the brand expansion for Kerr Woodworking was to craft a brand that felt minimal, clean, inviting, elevated and warm. Working with the Kerrs is a seamless experience, and they find so much inspiration out in nature – combining these elements into their brand identity was imperative. We used a lot of white space on their website, to create the same sense of contemplation they find out in nature. And art directed a photoshoot that captured the meaningful nature scenes that revive and rejuvenate them. We crafted organic and natural iconography to speak to the artistry that comes with the work Kerr creates and sells. 

BRAND EXPRESSION CONCEPT GOAL:

Working with Brannan was an absolute pleasure. She was genuine in her work and truly loves her craft. We were able to work seamlessly together creating a visual representation of our brand and vision through layout and color. I truly miss our weekly meetings and will definitely continue our relationship with Brannan in the future as our company grows.
