Lore is a bookstore owner based in Chicago, Illinois. After becoming a mom, she reignited her love of books and grew a large following on Instagram, sharing book bundles and suggestions for children. She found this work to be incredibly fulfilling, as it allowed her to be present with her daughter, and align her work with her values. Her dream expanded into a physical space to build community, and encourage a love of reading for those of all ages. 

Crafting a playful, colorful and child-like brand for Lore's bookshop was our goal. Appealing to both adults and children alike, creating a sense of belonging, nurturing community and growing a love of books were embedded in the brand identity. Sparrows are a symbol of hope, representing her bookstore breathing life into her local community in Chicago and her online following as well. 

BRAND EXPRESSION CONCEPT GOAL:

Seeing the designs crafted for Sweet Sparrow was surreal. A dream long in the making, brought to life with playful and fun visuals to support. We are looking forward to launch our site and bookshop to the world!
