With the growing emphasis on mental health in recent years, it has been more important than ever that therapists and counselors have a presence that is inviting and resonates with clients in need. This therapist came to us for a full transformation. Let’s dive into examples of therapist logos and what their brand strategy can look like.
Stephanie is a licensed professional counselor in Oregon who specializes in women’s health and hormone imbalances. Alongside her pup Penelope (her certified therapy dog), she helps women explore and address their mental health through the lens of hormone imbalances and the impact it can have on anxiety, trauma, and wellness.
Her previous brand didn’t accurately portray this expertise. Considering her unique niche and specific ideal client, we opted for a full rebrand including naming, brand strategy, visual identity, photography direction, web design, and web development.
To resonate with her ideal clients, it was vital that Stephanie’s brand voice came through as feminine, supportive, and welcoming. The brand name is inspired by the Festival of Floralia in celebration of the Goddess Flora’s patronage of fertility, flowering plants, and springtime. With these motifs in mind, we settled on a color palette of pinks, plums, and peaches. Her logo and brand elements were informed by these floral themes as well.

With the sensitive nature of therapy and counseling, therapist logos should emulate a sense of comfort and professionalism. If your practice serves a unique niche, we recommend leaning into that. Whether you focus your practice on children, couples, women, or men, consider the needs of your ideal clients and keep them in mind when establishing your brand presence. This will set the tone for their time with you.
It’s also important to remember that your branding elements are more than just a reflection of your personal style. Your brand identity should serve as a visual expression of who you are and what your brand stands for. When executed well, it can communicate not only your niche, but also the emotional and connective experience you create for your clients — all without saying a word. The right logo and branding will help ideal clients feel a sense of belonging and recognition.
When selecting your brand colors, be sure to consider your positioning and your ideal client. The colors should not only align with the emotional experience of your work, but also with the people you’re trying to reach. This ensures that your brand communicates its core values and tone early on and invites ideal clients into an environment that feels familiar and safe.
Additionally, it is commonly believed that colors can evoke various emotions or feelings. In fact, many colors have direct associations within our minds. Keep these in mind when selecting your brand’s colors. Consider a palette with calming and inviting colors. Muted or earthy tones could be a great option due to their soft presence.

This project stands out as one of the most impactful transformations we’ve seen. Before our work together, Stephanie’s practice attracted a wide range of clients — both men and women with varying levels of readiness and openness for the therapeutic experience. Through our brand strategy and identity process, we articulated the specific challenges her ideal clients were facing and how they aligned with her own experience — particularly women struggling with hormone-related anxiety, trauma, and wellness — and then positioned her as someone uniquely equipped to support them.
We clarified her values, refined her messaging, and reworked her website copy to set clear expectations and resonate with clients who were ready to take action. Visually, we chose colors, typography, and imagery that mirrored the sense of calm and clarity her clients hoped to find through working with her. The result? A brand identity that not only resonated emotionally, but also served as an effective filter — attracting aligned, empowered clients and gently repelling those who weren’t the right fit.
